Research Funding Opportunities 2026
Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity is committed to supporting and developing brain tumour research in Yorkshire and beyond. In 2026, we are offering two funding opportunities for researchers: our Pump-Priming Research Awards and our new Academic Conference Travel Awards.
2026 Pump-Priming Research Awards
Following the success of our Research Awards in 2025, we are pleased to continue our commitment to supporting innovative, pump-priming research projects. For 2026, we have increased the funding available to further strengthen our investment in research and enable more high-quality projects to get underway.
Researchers are invited to apply for funding of up to £5,000 per project to support early-stage research that has the potential to generate valuable evidence, develop new ideas and lay the foundations for future research opportunities.
