Will’s Way was founded in 2017, inspired by the bravery of 15-year-old Will Barker from Stanningley, who was diagnosed with a Grade 2 brain tumour.

Determined to turn their experience into something positive, Will’s family launched the charity to support other local families facing similar challenges with childhood brain tumours.

After three impactful years, Will’s Way officially merged with Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity on 31st August 2020, joining forces to strengthen support for families across Yorkshire.
