Wellbeing Walks
Step Outside. Breathe Deep. Connect.
Our Wellbeing Walks are gentle, guided strolls through beautiful Yorkshire landscapes – open to anyone affected by brain tumours. Whether you're a patient, a loved one, a friend, volunteer or supporter, you’re warmly invited to join us.
We believe in the healing power of nature, movement, and connection. That’s why, in partnership with a specialist walk provider, we’ve created a programme of accessible, low-stress walks across Yorkshire, designed to boost mental wellbeing and build community.

What to Expect
-
Relaxed pace – Our walks are usually around 2km, with plenty of rest stops. Routes are flexible and always adapted to the needs of the group.
-
Inclusive and accessible – All routes are wheelchair-friendly and suitable for a wide range of mobility needs.
-
Do what feels right for you – If walking isn’t an option, or you'd prefer to do just part of the route, that’s absolutely fine. There will always be friendly faces waiting in the café where you can relax, chat, and enjoy the company until the group returns.
-
A warm welcome – These walks are open to everyone in the brain tumour community.
-
Mindfulness in nature – Take time to breathe, connect with others, and enjoy the outdoors in a calm, supportive space.
-
Cake at the finish line – Every walk ends with a cuppa and a slice of cake at a nearby café – the perfect chance to chat and unwind.
