Our fantastic window display for our community space in Headingley.

You may have noticed that our Headingley window looks a little different these days. Once home to the Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity shop, the space has been transformed into something just as powerful: a vibrant display of community, creativity, and cause. 💛🧠

While our charity shop may have closed, our commitment to supporting brain tumour patients and their families across Yorkshire is stronger than ever. This bold, beautiful display is a celebration of everything YBTC stands for—hope, collaboration, and making a lasting impact.

We’re also excited to announce an inspiring new partnership with The Pieces Project to bring Creative Wellbeing Workshops to our Headingley space. These hands-on, art-based sessions are designed for local businesses, charities, and teams looking to boost wellbeing, spark creativity and give back to the community.

Each workshop offers:

🎨 A unique team-building experience in a relaxed, welcoming environment

🧠 The chance to support mental wellbeing through mindful, creative activity

✂️ The opportunity to paint, personalise, and upcycle beautiful, laser-cut pieces

🏢 A meaningful memento to take back to the office or display at home.

Book a workshop for your team of up to 20 people for just £400—with all proceeds supporting both YBTC and The Pieces Project CIC. It’s an ideal opportunity for corporate away days, staff wellbeing initiatives or CSR events.

📅 Ready to book? Visit The Pieces Project Booking Page to choose your date.

And that’s not all—monthly creative sessions for individuals are coming soon too! If you’d like to be the first to hear more, just drop us a message.

Our shop window might no longer be open for business—but through art, partnership, and shared purpose, it’s now more open than ever to connection, creativity, and change.

This was a very meaningful and engaging post that I truly enjoyed reading. I liked how the author broke down the Schon Reflective Model into simple ideas that are easy to understand. It shows how reflection can improve both personal growth and academic performance. As a student, I often use the Schon Reflective Model in my assignments, and posts like this help me apply it more effectively. Content like this is very useful for learners who want to improve their reflective writing skills.

This was a very engaging and insightful post that really captured my attention. I liked how the author explained everyday ideas in such a simple and relatable way, making it easy to connect with the message. It clearly shows how reflection plays an important role in both personal and academic growth. As a student studying management, I often read blogs like this to stay inspired. During busy academic periods, many learners also look for management assignment assistance to better understand complex topics. Posts like this provide both motivation and valuable insights for improving overall learning.
