What does the role involve?

Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity is a small charity with big ambitions. We support brain tumour patients/families in Yorkshire and invest in pioneering research. This volunteer role represents a fantastic opportunity to help us in deliver our support strategy in our region.

We are continuing to expand the reach of our wellbeing walks, to ensure that we can provide accessible exercise, a chance to get out in nature and the opportunity to access a loving and supportive community for to brain tumour patients and families across all areas of Yorkshire!

Our wellbeing walks provide a safe space for those affected by brain tumours to come together, support one another and share their experiences, all facilitated by one of our amazing volunteers.

If you are a good active listener, empathetic, organised and can commit to one half day a month we would love to hear from you. We will provide full training, support from our Support Lead and regular check-ins and supervision.
