Here at YBTC we're able to give you various resources, from guides to children's books, to help you navigate tricky conversations as a family.
Wanting to protect children from difficult news, worry and distress is completely natural.

You may feel it will bring home the reality of the situation, when you are still struggling to come to terms with it yourself. But not explaining what is happening may make them feel more vulnerable.
Children often know when something serious is affecting the family and people they are close to. It is important to give them the chance to talk openly about their worries and fears.
Here at YBTC we have a range of resources that we can send to you that may help you open up discussions.

Here are some of the children's and young adult books, guides and resources we have available:
If you think that one of these books might be helpful for your child, please get in touch with so we can arrange sending a copy to you, free of charge.

Our team is here to offer you the support you need. Our peer support and family events offer a way for you to speak to other parents who are going through a similar experience which you may find really helpful.
