Peer Support

We know how important it is for you to speak to someone who really understands what you're going through.

We aim to bring people together with shared experiences to support each other emotionally, socially and practically.

Our peer support includes:

* Our out of hours YBTC Friends Support Line answered by volunteers who have gone through it themselves.

* Support Groups where you can meet people in similar situations to you

* We can introduce you to our trained peer support volunteers who have had a similar lived experience as you.

To find out more, you can call us on 0113 340 0111, email or you can use our *NEW* online chat by CLICKING HERE.

"No-one can really understand what you are going through unless they have experienced it themselves. Having the chance to talk to other people who really "get it" has been just what I needed. You don't have to explain yourself, they just know."

"Being able to speak to someone who knows what it is like to feel so helpless means I feel less alone."
