Lisa East, the founder of social media management and training company The Thinking Cap, developed the initial idea for the Business Connections club alongside our Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager Nicki Hood, and is one of our founding members.

What is The Thinking Cap?

Founded by Lisa East back in January 2010, The Thinking Cap (Yorkshire) Ltd was born. A social media management and training company now based in Horsforth, Leeds. Providing social media management, social media content training and Canva design training to help small and medium sized businesses become more visible online and manage their social media in-house.

Why did you decide to join Business Connections?
 
"I met Nicki networking, and after an emotional business meeting, I quickly decided to volunteer my time and marketing know-how to help bring in additional funds in via a new idea – a business supporters club! I felt an instant urge to help with losing my dad to multiple brain tumours the November before lockdown 1.0.
