Wellbeing Walk

Wellbeing Walk

Wellbeing Walk
Temple Newsam
17 October - 11:00 AM

Join us on a guided walk at Temple Newsam in Leeds, with social enterprise Good Footing.

Spaces are free but must be booked in advance by clicking below.

Led by an expert guide and open to all adults affected by a brain tumour (including patients, carers and loved ones), these walks are a great chance to relax, meet others in a similar situation and have regular wellbeing time in the outdoors.

There is no pressure to chat if you don't feel like it; the focus is on boosting wellbeing through good company, fresh air and gentle exercise.

You will be taken on a leisurely, low-level walk for around 1-1.5 hours (the route will usually be around 2.5 miles). The walk will start and end at the café and we hope walkers will join us for a relaxing, well-deserved drink afterwards.

The route is suitable for beginner walkers, but unfortunately unsuitable for those in a wheelchair. Any members of your party who would prefer not to take part in the walk are welcome to stay at the café with a member of the YBTC team for a chat and a cuppa.

If you have any issues with arranging transportation, please get in touch and we can arrange a lift. Email support@yorksbtc.org.uk or call 0113 340 0111.
