Charities like Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity depend on income from fundraising events and thousands have been cancelled or postponed including our Run for All 10K’s, Total Warrior and the London Marathon.
We have lost 97% of our income since lockdown began.
In response, the UK’s mass participation sports event industry has come together to create The 2.6 Challenge, a nationwide fundraising campaign to Save the UK’s Charities. We’re inviting you to dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity. It would be wonderful to have your support.
The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 miles to holding an online workout with 26 of your friends.
Whatever your age or ability, you can take part. After all, we’re not looking for superheroes. We’re looking for Home Heroes.
