Elise, who is just nine years old, took on the incredible challenge of climbing Ben Nevis with the rest of her family on Tuesday 1st June. She did the climb in memory of her grandad Julian Smith, who sadly passed away from a brain tumour in 2006, before Elise was born.
The 4,435-foot climb took the group just under eight hours in total, and Elise's incredible achievement has helped her raise £2,182 on her JustGiving page so far.
In an interview with BBC Radio Tees, Elise's dad Mark said: "We've always wanted to walk Ben Nevis as a family. Elise thought it'd be a great idea to try and raise some funds, so she picked the charity. We're really proud of what she's done so far."
Elise said: "I just want to say thank you for helping me and I really hope that I can help people out there just like my grandy."
Thank you from the whole team at YBTC to Elise and everyone who got involved.
