Liam's Story
Liam's Story
Thu 21 May
YBTC offer patient grants to support people across Yorkshire.
Here, Liam tells us his story.
Our grants offer financial support to patients and their families when they really need us.
YBTC grants can also be applied for during a specific point in an illness to grant a special wish, to support psychological and social wellbeing or to help reduce isolation.
CLICK HERE for more information about our grants.
Liam was first diagnosed in 2006, aged just 11.
In this video he tells us his story, in his own words. Liam has actively fundraised to continue his physiotherapy which YBTC are proud to have been able to help support through our patient grants.
Since March the demand for our patient grants has grown by
200%
as a direct result of the pandemic. We are 100% reliant on donations to continue our work.
Every penny donated supports people across Yorkshire or funds much-needed brain tumour research.
Thank you for enabling us to support people like Liam.
Since 2003 you've helped us raise:
