The
Health and Social Care Committee Expert Panel is holding an
online discussion group, and you are invited to
have your say.
The aim of the session is to find out the views of people
currently undergoing treatment for cancer, or those who have recently completed cancer treatment.
You will be asked to share your experiences of accessing cancer services, from diagnosis to treatment. You will be asked about the impact of the pandemic on treatment, and about
ways in which cancer services in England could be improved.
This event forms part of a larger inquiry commissioned by the Health and Social Care Committee to evaluate the Government's progress in achieving ministerial pledges with regards to health policy. The Expert Panel will produce a report which rates the Government's progress in achieving its commitments, taking into consideration feedback from the discussion groups.
The discussion group is scheduled to take place online on
Thursday 27th January between
4pm-5:30pm (please note this is subject to change).
Spaces at the event are limited, so if you would like to take part, please contact Siobhan Conway by emailing
conwaysb@parliament.uk.
The session will take place using Microsoft Teams. Test calls and technological support will be available if needed. The discussion will be recorded for transcribing purposes only and all transcripts will be made fully anonymous. For full details on how your information will be used, please read the
privacy policy.
