Support for children

In this article we share advice for parents on how to help children cope with a parental brain tumour diagnosis.
Our counselling service provides a safe space for children and young people to explore their feelings through creativity, play and a constructive therapeutic relationship.
We understand how important it is to speak to people who “get it”. Our family events enable you to meet other people who have been affected by a brain tumour.
We have two types of grant available for children who have been diagnosed with, or are waiting for diagnosis of, a primary brain tumour.
Here at YBTC we're able to give you various resources, from guides to children's books, to help you navigate tricky conversations as a family.
