YBTC support

Wakefield Drop-In Café: the monthly drop-in is held at Create Café, Wakefield on the fourth Thursday of every month. It's a chance for patients, loved ones and carers to chat with others who have experienced something similar, or simply relax with a hot drink. To find out more, click here.

In-person Bereavement Support Group: this monthly support group is held at Connections on Westgate, Wakefield on the third Monday of the month. It's a chance for those who have lost a loved one across Yorkshire to receive some informal support in a welcoming, safe space. Click here for more information.

Macmillan Information Pod on Level D at Pinderfields Hospital provides information and support. It's open to visit from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, or call 01924 546072.

The Neuro-rehabilitation service is run by the rehabilitation department at Mid-Yorkshire NHS Trust. Call 01924 541000 (based on the ward at Dewsbury District Hospital)

The Palliative care at home team provides care and support for end-of-life adult patients and their family and friends in their own home environment. This is a 24hrs a day, 7 days a week service staffed by registered nurses and healthcare assistants by the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust. Call 01924 327591 to find out more.
