Mindfulness & Meditation Resources

Mindfulness is described as the "quality of being present" and is a tool used to focus the mind in times of stress so as to be less reactive when faced with difficult situations.

Improve your mindfulness with these written, audio and video resources, shared with us by therapist Correna Dcaccia at our support group.

Before you begin...

We know meditation can seem a bit daunting at first. That's why our YBTC counsellor Laura Griffiths put together a quick and easy guide for complete beginners - read her Introduction to Meditation by clicking here.

Our meditation videos...

We have a whole playlist of meditation videos on our YouTube channel, led by our counsellor Laura Griffiths. You can find videos of all lengths, both with and without music, to suit your own taste.

Below is just a sample of our short meditations, ranging from 3 minutes to 10.

If you'd like any of the videos sending to you as an MP3 file to listen to, please just let us know.
