Bereavement Information


Grief is our response to a loss such as a person we love, our identity, our health or anything we feel a connection to.
 
Talking to a trained professional can feel different to talking to friends or family members
 
What are rituals and why are they so important when it comes to experiencing loss?
 
Healing from our loss is profoundly hard work and takes its toll on our physical, emotional and mental health; good sleep is vital to help with this.
 
After loss, basic tasks like cooking become extremely difficult and draining; but it's so vital to ensure we're getting the nutrients we need.
 
Here we give self-care ideas that have been gathered from people we have previously supported.
